On September 21st, I had the immense pleasure of having my experimental short film Displaced screened at Bookmarks of Discomfort Vol. II. Conceived and curated by New York-based artist Priyanka Das, Bookmarks of Discomfort is a series of screenings and presentations around the idea of discomfort through visual, aural, physical, and textual monographs. The event took place at the Millennium Film Workshop, a non-profit media arts center, located in New York City, dedicated to the exhibition, study, and practice of avant-garde and experimental cinema.
