I might be sheltered at home, but my new experimental short continues its journey. I am honored to announce that Displaced is Official Selection at the 23rd Revelation Perth International Film Festival in Perth, Australia. The festival was designed to showcase a range of unique and progressive short, feature, documentary, archival and animated works that were at the forefront of contemporary underground filmmaking. The event attracts 22,000 patrons and 50 national and international guests over 13 days.
Due to the global pandemic, the festival is running online in what they have called "Couched" but the expectation is to have a physical event later this year should conditions be appropriate. Displaced is part of the Experimental Short Film Showcase #2: Micro-Narratives & Experimental-Epics program and would be screened on July 8th, 2020 at 2:00 pm EDT. Tickets here.
