I am thrilled to share that my film work "Displaced: Fragments in the Diaspora," has been included in the February 2024, Memory Connection Journal, a publication edited by The Memory Waka Research Group at Massey University of New Zealand.
The Memory Connection Journal is an international, peer-reviewed journal that serves as a meeting place for multidisciplinary perspectives, discourses, and expressions of memory. This journal aims to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue that may lead to different ways of seeing and the creation of new knowledge. The journal's latest edition, which includes my film, can be accessed here.
The inclusion of "Displaced: Fragments in the Diaspora" in the Memory Connection Journal represents a significant recognition of my ongoing dialogue about memory and identity. This publication would not have been possible without the support and efforts of Prof. Kingsley Baird, Acting Head of School of Art at Massey University, University of New Zealand and Prof. Kendall Phillips, Department of Communication and Rhetorical Studies, Syracuse University. Their dedication to fostering interdisciplinary research and dialogue has been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.
You can access the journal and read more about this exciting project here.
