The dark of night can be deep but the night may only be dark... not so much at Concorto's Deep Night Midnight Screenings. From August 18 to 25 Pontenure, Italy becomes the home of the 17th Concorto International Film Festival. In the beautiful setting of Parco Raggio's greenhouse, the festival will screen a selection of 12 of the most extreme, strange and particular short films of the year, including Writer's Block. In the words of the program curator Rael Montecucco, Deep Night is a journey between horror, thriller, nightmare and surreal, with a glimpse of dark comedy.
