On September 26th, 2026, my 2011 short Centripetal returns to the screen at Shorts & Beats ~ Venezuela, organized by the Miami Short Film Festival at the Deering Estate. Fifteen years after its Audience's Choice win in Shanghai, it screens again among the work of fellow Venezuelan filmmakers — a night that, underneath everything, is about memory, identity, and resistance.
